Our history
Our story begins in 2008 with the founding of Ironservers. In its early years, the company operated by relying on external providers to deliver its services.
In the third year of operation, the first in-house infrastructure deployment in Chile was completed, marking the start of a new stage of growth and greater control over the technology operation.
In 2014, Ironservers became a LACNIC member and obtained its own Internet numbering resources, including autonomous system AS52511. This milestone strengthened the independence and management capacity of its network infrastructure.
In 2017, Ironservers’ assets and operations came under the Hostednode brand, maintaining continuity of its founder and the experience accumulated since 2008.
Hostednode today
Today, Hostednode SpA operates as an infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) provider from Santiago, Chile. We offer preconfigured solutions and develop custom projects according to each client’s technical, operational, and growth requirements.
Our platform can deploy high-capacity, high-performance virtual machines with connectivity of up to 10 Gbps. Thanks to our local presence, we deliver low latency within Chile and efficient international transit.
This capacity allows us to serve projects of different scales: from small websites and business applications to high-demand platforms and large content-distribution infrastructures.
We have a strong focus on operational continuity, data protection, and service resilience. We are Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud providers with storage localized in Chile, and we offer protection for Proxmox virtualization environments through Proxmox Backup Server as a service.
Our main IP transit and physical infrastructure hosting provider is Grupo ZGH, operator of autonomous system AS263702.
Hostednode SpA is also the owner of the HND trademark registered with INAPI in Chile.
