This Privacy Policy describes how Hostednode SpA (“HostedNode”, “we”) processes personal data associated with the use of the public website hnd.cl (and equivalent official domains) and with communications with us through the channels indicated on this page. Processing in the client portal (portal.hnd.io) may be subject to additional notices or policies specific to that billing and support system.

2. What data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:
- Contact data that you provide voluntarily (name, email address, telephone number, company, message content) when writing to contacto@hnd.cl, WhatsApp, telephone, or when opening a ticket in the portal.
- Technical data generated when browsing this site: IP address, browser type, pages visited, approximate date/time, through server logs or similar technologies necessary for security and operation.
- Cookies and local storage: the site may use technical or preference cookies (for example, to record acceptance of the cookie notice). If analytical or advertising cookies are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated and, if required by law, additional consent will be requested.
3. Purposes of processing
We use the data to:
- Respond to inquiries, quotations, and support requests.
- Manage the contractual and billing relationship when you are a customer (primarily through the portal).
- Maintain site security and prevent fraud and abuse.

We retain data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described and legal or contractual obligations (for example, tax periods or the safeguarding of communications). Technical logs are retained for limited periods unless a different legal obligation applies.
6. Transfers and processors
We may share data with providers that perform auxiliary services for us (site hosting, transactional email, payment gateways, support), under confidentiality obligations and processing consistent with the law. We do not sell contact lists to third parties for their independent marketing.
7. International transfers
If a sub-processor hosts data outside Chile, we will adopt reasonable measures to ensure an adequate level of protection in accordance with applicable law.
8. Rights of data subjects
Pursuant to Act No. 19.628 on the protection of private life and related rules, you may request access, rectification, cancellation, or objection to the processing of your personal data, where legally applicable. To exercise your rights, write to contacto@hnd.cl stating your identity and specific request. We may request additional reasonable information to verify that the request comes from the data subject or their representative.
9. Security
HostedNode applies reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No system is 100 % secure; we recommend using strong passwords and not reusing credentials across services.
10. Minors
HostedNode’s services are directed to persons with legal capacity to contract. We do not intentionally request data from minors; if we detect data collected without adequate consent from a representative, we will proceed to delete it where the law permits.
11. Third-party links
This site may contain links to third-party sites (for example, the client portal). The privacy practices of those sites are the responsibility of their owners; we invite you to read their policies before providing personal data.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal changes or changes in our services. We will publish the current version on hnd.cl with its update date. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
